Atticus-please read this...:)

hi, atticus,
we are fighting the same fight on admin, and i could use some support..your posts *did* serve a purpose, because it made me realize that i'm not alone in feeling so frustrated at trying to get my point across...i think you are so creative and intelligent..and you are one of the only people i feel that really 'gets it'. i have pasted below my post to you made on admin (in case you don't go back there):

atticus, man, i hear you, and completely agree! i just read your post, and feel better, b/c i just felt the same way, like this issue is so intricate yet some posters come in and say things that oversimplify it and try and make you look like you're wrong but you know you're not...they're just not seeing the 100 billion angles to this thing...i am becoming very frustrated and can relate 100% to your comment about wanting to forget trying to discuss this stuff for your own mental health. there's someone here that gets it, dude! please write back! i need support...:)did i tell you i love your posts? i think you're brilliant..can be lonely at the top, huh?

amy :)

Hi Alesta,
Always nice to meet someone I haven't talked to before on these pages. I do feel the same way you do, but the sheer frustration that attempting to raise these issues caused me really sent me into a dangerous depressive spiral this past week, especially after the "August 31 Massacre," when Dr. Bob went on a blocking spree that really left me profoundly upset with Psycho-Babble. I support you, but this is one fight I just want to walk away from. It's doing far too much damage to an already fragile psychological state -- much more than it's worth. I'd rather just write poems about real-life experiences and real-life relationships and talk about anything BUT Dr. B and Babble. I hope you understand. I'd love to get to know you better, but the topic of PB is just toxic to me at this point. I've spoken my piece; I've really nothing more to add. So anytime you want to shoot the breeze about a non-Babble topic, stop by Writing and tell me to meet you at Social. OK? :) Atticus

Hi Alesta,
I've just read your Administration posts. I'm sorry I didn't fully understand how bad you were feeling when you wrote the above post. If you're still interested in talking sometime, drop me a note after one of my poems and tell me to meet you on Social. I've just been so overwrought and burned out by the same things tearing you up, and a major collapse of my meds' efficacy (now under control, somewhat, with a few dosage adjustments), that I didn't respond with enough empathy and support. Let me know if you ever wanna gab. I've cut off all e-mail notifications from every Babble page but Writing, so this is where to let me know you need a shoulder to lean on. :) Atticus

hi, atticus,:)
thanks...you are so sweet.:) i know you're probably sleeping right now (it's 4:39 AM), but i just wanted to tell you ahead of time that i might be blocked. so if you don't hear from me for the next week you know why. actually, i think i'll get a "please be civil," but just in case. if i'm not blocked, i'll try and get in touch with you tomorrow or monday probably.

thanks again for what you wrote...i'm doing a *little* better now...i don't want to discuss admin either, trust me, but i could use the conversation with a gentle soul like yourself that i connect with. i found what you wrote to be very heart-warming. i guess i'll talk to you later...

take care,

amy :)
