divinity embraces the infinite space
controls the destiny of the human race
reverence for the spiritual perfection
proved by science's endless dissection
of the cosmos into component parts
inspiration for music and the artsavoid atheism's fearful flight
away from the ever guiding light
suffering dark despair and fear
surveying all with a lurid leer
falling into spiritual obscurity
further away from gnostic puritythe universe's stark indifference
to human life and its brief occurrence
fires the imagination of the dream
reality tears apart at the seamyour insanity is subjective
when society is so defective
undergoing solitary refinement
provided by forced confinement
experience sensory deprivation
to avoid moral depravation
from the unseen searching hands
of the government's unlawful demands
that seek to take away individual rights
provoking revolutionary fire fights
across the domain of the free people
that won't bow down to the steeple
of the monstrous state oppression
unbroken by spiritual depression
the underground will rise anew
up on high admiring the view
as the flags of freedom fly so high
in the wind of the eagle's sky
storm clouds on the horizon prophesy doom
above the mountain peaks where giants loom
after the storm breaks and the great flood flows
smashing the architecture aligned in pitiful rows
in the ruins a new flower will have grown
it's time to start rebuilding stone by stone
