kid a,

forget it. I don't have your new addys. Only the kei2k one.

the document has been destroyed/dissolved. thanks for the years. It isn't enough any longer and the best of intentions are meaningless in this context of 'friendship'. Sorry for giving you my all to recieve nothing in return when I needed it most. Glad you had your england with reminders that you had something to keep going for.

now move along lil' doggie. nothing to see here.

you have the tea and books and letters and postcards and such so keep those close to remember what you had and lost.

p.s. I no longer have copies of the work. destroyed like so many other things in this world. fitting though with the way one treats a friend. please have courtesy to remove tells of my name from BDB as it has been linked from this wretched place. thanks for caring enough.

Oh Zen...you must click the "undo" key right away on this. I see the words, I hear the pain and anger, but I don't believe the sentiment beneath. I do know how you've struggled lately, but to dismiss an old friend? They are so, so rare.

Even if you've felt ignored...there may have been circumstances on the other side, you know? Sometimes lives are so friggin complicated with mortgages, kids, jobs, news, etc. And then they get further complicated by the issues which have brought us here in the first place. We just run out of that internal life energy. All that's left is what it takes to get from one day to the next. Sadly, we do lose friends this way. But if you can help it, please don't let this happen to you and Kid.

And if you get mad at me, I'm going to tell everyone how you peed in front of the whole class in 2nd grade. Oh wait. That was me.

Emmy

it needn't concern me either, but i agree (and you can't call me a soy cube! call me loud mouth, call me dense, call me floozey, call me nosey, and i'll agree to it all, but certainly not soy cube.)

email her kid. she needs her friends right now (don't we all?). if you know her number, call her till she picks up (we women are stubborn by god, but if someone badgers us enough we'll pick up the phone jsut to tell them 'stop it!' it only takes a good 'but but but....' to soften us up a bit... trust me, a friendship this long (and as special as zen) is worth it, wouldn't you say?
