I will cook for you Tuna, light brazed on all sides(a choice cut) then I will make Asian Veggies...so good it'll make you sweat. Then I will throw in some artichoke noodles and you have the carbs (we all crave) and I will be wearing only an apron....and army boots and a funky hat I have knitted and .....okay you get the picture.

Callay.....maybe that's creative enough to keep this thread from being redirected.

I will cook for thee
if you sit on my knee
turn you head with a sigh
will we sip wine and get high
tuna is from the deep ocean
the silver scales shine when in motion
we eat to feel full
on the carcus we will pull
but when it's over our tears fall like rain
for you see we loved them too much and that is our pain
if only mr tuna could have swum free and clear
our table would be bare but the fish had no fear
I hand you a toothpic and we clear away the dishes
I pull of the apron and army boots and do as you wishes

ANOTHER BED
from: Love is a Mad Dog from Hell
another bed
another womenmore curtains
another bathroom
another kitchenother eyes
other hair
other
feet and toes.everybodys looking.
the eternal search.you stay in bed
she gets dressed for work
and you wonder what happened
to the last one
and the one after that...
it's all so comfortable-
this love making
this sleeping together
the gentle kindness...after she leaves you get up and use her
bathroom,it's all so intimate and strange.
you go back to bed and
sleep another hour.when you leave its with sadness
but you'll see her again
whether it works or not.
you drive down to the shore and sit
in your car. it's almost noon.-another bed, other ears, other
ear rings, other mouths, other slippers, other
dressescolors, doors, phone numbers.
you were once strong enough to live alone.
for a man nearing sixty you should be more
sensible.you start the car and shift,
thinking, I'll phone Jeanie when I get in,
I haven't seen her since Friday.Do you like it? I always did like Bukowski. Something about him seems to speak to me. I liked what you wrote. What were you thinking about? Glad you are feeling better now though.
This is the end of the thread.
