If my mind were expressed in sculpture, it would have many layers. It would be concurrently happy and sad, good and evil, ugly and beautiful. The Evil that would lie deep within the sculpture would be contained by the fragile beauty that surrounded it. A Beauty made of most delicate of glass, easily broken. The Evil being a dark liquid that constantly bubbled and threated to shatter the fragile containment. The base of the sculpture would be shards of sharp metal to reflect the years of anguish in which there was no nurturing light to swaddle a developing spirit. The top of the piece would be made of shining gold, a gift of friendship that draws the eye and brightens the entire structure with warmth and a feeling of love. And should you look at the work of art, you would have to look deeply to find the center, bubbling away, the lingering threat to ruin the entire work. You might walk away with a feeling of delight at such a complex piece, having missed all the layers within.
This is the end of the thread.
