Sadness #80

Sadness surrounds me like a halo
People walk right past me
as if I don’t exist

Sadness grows with every beat of my heart
People can’t see my tears flow
I don’t exist

Sadness surrounds me like a shroud
People walk right over me
as if I don’t exist

Sadness grows with every tear that falls
People can’t see my heart bleed
I don’t exist
