They're not exactly being kind to me. This morning I asked for time off to attend something for school. I worked through lunch for two days and so I made up the two hours I was absent.
On my desk when I came in today was a note saying I have to use vacation time for the hours I wasn't here. I went to the person who left the note and said that I skipped lunch for two days so I have two hours coming. She said *Oh, really I saw you in the lunchroom yesterday.* I said I sat down for 15 minutes and wolfed down some food. *That counts as lunch.* If I added up her cigarette and bathroom breaks I'll bet they total more than 15 minutes...*
I hate that I am out of here as of next week Friday and they can still play their stupid games. The only reason I gave two weeks notice was so I would get a paid holiday on Monday (Columbus Day) and my now less than two vacation days paid back to me.
The positive is only four more days in this boring job and I'm working at the new job on Monday AND getting paid holiday pay. I will survive...

You can do it. I know you can. :)
Then you'll have this really exciting new job!
It must feel like trying to get through those last few days of third grade before the Christmas vacation.
This is the end of the thread.
