The lithium bottle says, "Swallow whole: Do not crush or chew." Alright, so if you cut it in a half, that's not swallowing it whole but it's also not crushing or chewing. I think the directions are unclear. So can I cut it in a half?
Have any of you cut lithium tablets?

If you have tablets, you can cut them in half. The tablets I've had have a score on them so it was easy to split a tablet in half. Now I have capsules, can't do that.
I think it is perfectly safe to split the tablet in half, if you have tablets. Are they scored down the middle? If so, you should be able to pretty easily split the tablet in half with your fingers.
This is the end of the thread.
