In reply to provigil.. any good?, posted by sammigrl on March 7, 2007, at 7:02:36
I've only been on it for a few months. I like it, it helps with the tiredness, but sometimes I think it's placebo. I'm on 100mg and think maybe it needs to be raised. During PMS the Provigil can really crash with the Cymbalta and I get way too anxious, but usually it's o.k.

Provigil allowed me to get out of bed when nothing else would. It cleared my head so I could think and work, helped focus my concentration. The ______ of the Asperger's Association of America told me he used it to help him concentrate, so I tried it and it works. The posts seem to show that it might not work for all people, and some say it stops after a year or 2 but I've been on it for 3 years and function at a very high level. Good luck

I've been on Provigil for about a year and it works for me. The other Bi Polar meds were making me a couch potato, Provigil gets me up, focusing and doing things. I just have a hard time not using more then one a day because I enjoy 3 day binges of no sleep and doing a whole script in 3 days may sound crazy but I have done it....and regretted the loss of Provigil for the rest of the month - 200mg - a day - I gotta keep that focused.
This is the end of the thread.
