Efexor withdrawal

Hi

Ive been taking efexor 150mg for 3 years now but its not working any more. my new pdoc wants me to go try either paxil or prozac but he says i need to wash out the efexor first to be safe. I hear so many bad storys bout this drug . I scared to quit like this in case i get even worse has anyone else tried to quit efexor? what happened? is it ok for me to switch straight to paxil or prozac/

Its ok I switched over to paxil with no taper. Was ok but a few headaches and shock things in my head and a bit dizzy but gettin better now.
