I have been on cymbalta 30 mg. for about 6 weeks. Stopped taking it yesterday, as my Psych. said to go ahead, and just let it go, due to side effects. was feeling fine, then last night before bed, became sick to my stomach and threw up, and today my head hurts so bad, nothing is helping......anyone have advice as to what helped them through this. I called the pharmacist, and they did say, it was probably cymbalta withdrawal symptoms, to last about four days......i would appreciate any advice to deal with this....please......and thank you.

I'm sorry I have not been here sooner to post about your query. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had similar withdrawal symptoms but to some different meds. I hope you are better now but if not encourage you to take some immodium. Sounds silly but really does help. If you get dehydrated after days of this don't even hesitate to go to an urgent care or ER. Dehydration will just make everything much worse and slow down your detox. So please take care and let me know how you are doing.
