Basically, I'm finally going to try and get off of Effexor after about 3 years of taking the 150 dose everyday. When I stopped by this site, I felt a strange comfort and happiness in knowing that so many others experienced my ups and downs with Effexor. Especially the infamous headaches and "brain shocks". I've read tons of suggestions on how to cut the 75 mlg dose in half (from mixing it with juice, to opening the capsule), but I haven't had any luck. When I try to mix it with something, it doesn't seem to dissolve. And when I tried just opening the capsule and cutting it in half by eye, I always seem to get it all over the place. Any other suggestions? I look forward to finally being pill-free.
This is the end of the thread.
