Adderall Withdrawal

Posted by kank on February 23, 2006, at 21:04:07

I have been hooked on adderall for about a year, taking 2x the dose from 2 dif doctors. Ive been hooked on the stuff before also. I had to cold turkey yesterday and I won't have access to any anymore. I had been averaging about 60mg a day. Can someone tell me how long this withdrawal is going to last? I'm really groggy, but way too jittery to sleep. Drinking made it a lot easier last night, but it made it absolutely terrible this morning. Also, is today the worst or will it get worse later? I tried to find this answer on the boards and didn't see it.

Drink gatorade, eat chicken soup, vitamins, and vegetate for 4 days.
Treat yourself like a plant you want to help grow.
Don't think, concentrate on eating, defecating, sleeping.
You'll get over it.

That is the only thing I am capable of! I'm so lucky my girlfriend and roomate are both out of town this week. So you think it'll be better in 4 days? I googled this and got some scary results about people who have permanent side effects from adderall so i kind of scared myself there.
