I've already stopped the Lexapro after tapering myself off from 10 mg. My doc px'd Lamictal (400mg/day) for bipolar hypomania, which I read can be secondary to taking Lex. I've been on Lex for about 2 years now, and I don't feel any better. The suicidal thoughts are rampant as ever.
Since I spent a lot of time over the holdiays working and alone, I had a panic attack where I found myself in the ER - my p-doc px'd Risperdol for the short term. Wihin a week, I stopped taking that all together. I felt like a zombie.
The clonopin has been helping with my anxiety, but I am tired of that as well and plan to wean off of that within the next couple of months.
I am JUST tired of all these meds. They seem to be exacerbating more psych problems than theraputic outcomes. By April 1st, I expect to be off all meds. By that time, I will defend my prospectus for my doctoral program. I hope my mind get clearer in the process of tapering off these meds which seems to cloud my mind and affect my creativity.
Any concerns or similar experiences out there?

Please be careful and let a friend or family member know what you are doing so they can monitor your moods. Stopping meds can often lead to bad reactions worse than prior to taking them. Good Luck!
