diarrhea cha cha cha (I really do have a question)

hi guys,
Does anyone know if it's common to experience awful, persistent diarrhea when trying to come off of Lexapro? This didn't happen to me LAST time, and it's quite possible that it's only a stomach flu or something. But it's not at all fun, and I wanted to check with all the drug experts here and see if it COULD be a side-effect, and if so, how long I should expect it to last. I'm very unhappy with this turn of events. :(
