My only meds now are 150mg Wellbutrin and 0.75mg Xanax--both low doses, but I want off drugs completely. I have tried dropping to 0.625mg of Xanax, and it was surprisingly difficult so I went back to 0.75mg again. I am thinking that the Wellbutrin is making it harder to go off the Xanax. Maybe I should stop the Wellbutrin first. Has anyone been on Wellbutrin without any other ADs and gone off without any withdrawal symptoms? If there are symptoms, what are they? Thanks.

I have not. I don't mind the Wellbutrin. I want off the benzo's. It was recommended by my new pdoc for me to wean off the xanax SLOWLY and then wean off the Klonopin. I'm so confused. I know my post didn't help....sorry

Simus- I couldn't have siad it better myself! I can (possibly)understand why you want to wean off the xanax. But why the wellbutrin?

I went from fairly high doses of various SSRIs and other psych drugs down to the lowest dose of Wellbutrin and a very low dose of Xanax (0.75mg). I really don't think I need the Xanax anymore (but breaking the addiction is another story). And I'm not so sure I need the Wellbutrin. I guess it is just a matter of curiosity... I would love to be off all these drugs forever!
