Does anyone know if drinking alcohol, once or regularly effect one's histamine levels?

The health benefits from 1-2 drinks (especially red wine) daily seem to involve a decrease in overall inflammation, so I would assume allergic response is blunted here. Some people will react to certain types of alcohol, gin in particular being one that comes to mind.

Hi... I looked this up at drinkbetterwine.com

"Histamines, found in the skins of grapes, seem to give some people headaches if they are sensitive to histamines. Red wine will affect a histamine-sensitive wine drinker more than white wine because red wine has spent more time in contact with grape skins."
