I am addicted to being addicted. It seems like every time I get past the denial of an addiction, I subconsciously find something else to feed the black hole of my addictive mind. I have the ability to become addicted to anything. I could be so addicted to something good that it would be bad. Addictions drive me and without them I feel motionless, as if there is nothing to anything.

Hi Curt
Apparently one of the meanings of 'original sin' is that our desires are disordered. In a consumer culture such as we have become, disorders relating to consumption are bad and will get worse. I wouldn't worry about this addictive personality business; just someone drumming up business.
That's my 2 bobs worth.

I just don't "get" the whole moderation thing. Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess...
