hi all
With regard to drug testing, other than substituting 'clean' urine by some clever means, does anyone know how to make your urine test negative if you are taking effexor? My company tests for it and I see no reason why they should be allowed to discriminate on this level, especially as the drug has never caused me any drowsiness in the past. In fact it improves my mental functioning!
I am not on it now, but following nearly 2 decades of what I now suspect may be bipolar, i feel I would like to take it again. The drug tests are stopping me from doing this though.
I've seen these detox drinks, do they work?
thank you
ross

(snip)Are you sure that they test for Effexor? That would be quite unusual.

Yes, it would be unusual...especially considering Effexor isn't even a controlled substance. Presuming they do test for Effexor, I wonder if your employer might also test for other antidepressants?

It would be EXTREMELY unusual. I very much doubt that they will test for Effexor.

Yes, they do if you get a DUI.
This is the end of the thread.
