I've been taking Lexapro for 3 weeks now. Can I have 1 or 2 beers at night to relax, or will this affect the Lexapro?
Affectionately,

Hi!
>Can I have 1 or 2 beers at night to relax.......
Yes - but take care :-) Try half a beer first, some people have 'weird' reactions to alcohol while they're taking SSRIs.
I've never had a problem drinking alcohol with SSRIs but some people do so please be careful.
Kind regards

I hate to keep doing this, but could you re-register ("for the first time") again under a different name?

I take celexa and drink. Celexa is suposed to be very similar to lexapro. The only thing I noticed was redness around the eyes at first. That was if I took the celexa first and then drank. But now I take the celexa at night and don't notice anything.
