How long does it take for the effects of marijuana intoxication to fully dissipate? I took some Sunday night, and here it is Wednesday and I'm still feeling a little weak with regard to short-term memory and overall cognition. "Slow," I can't otherwise describe it. For example, someone just dropped by with a relatively easy technical question, and rather than zipping back with the right answer immediately (my normal behavior) I started postulating some other solutions before realizing they were overly complex. Is the pot to blame? These effects are not permanent, I hope. I've only smoked this one time in the past year or so.

After a hard night I can often feel strange effects for the next couple of days. If your system is as unused to it as you say then maybe that is what is going on for you.
It does come right.
It does.

Iz like you...I've only done it twice in two years and I felt "strange" for a week or so...Then it dissapeared out of the blue..Plus, I took a drug test a week later and passed, so I'm guessing if you don't smoke it much it's outa your system pretty quick...drink a bunch of tea..it helps clear it out. peace

I hope so -- I feel slowed down, forgetful, and, worse, sloppy at my job. I hope this is temporary. :(

Stop smoking that commercial stuff with seeds in it!
One joint of regular bud will be out in 2-3wks.
One joint of super strain head budz(my preference), 4-5wks.
This is the end of the thread.
