maybe to keep the wagon from falling on you, you could eat the wagon wheels ... mmm, chocolate creme goodness
i don't think you'll be needing that lamp shade - that's for the fat party guys in hawaiian shirts
but you can lie down on the couch for a while
and hide under the duvet
it's no invisibility cloak
but it's chased danger away from me so farhang in there sweet pea

My technique is to hold my breath and run past the wine aisle in the grocery store. I hold my nose if I walk past a bar (they all keep their doors open here. something about the aroma of stale beer is like amrosia...).
I sit in the car if my husband goes in the liquor store. Try to find something to listen to on the car stereo.
Demon drink indeed. It feels like I'm the demon here... see no evil, smell no evil, taste no evil, a different kind of monkey. The hardest thing is not to beat ourselves up so much. That hurts more than any beating I had as a kid. I'm very cruel towards myself, I bet you're the same.
