Over the years, I've been very in tune with my body. Does anyone else notice that even one day of heavy alcohol use brings on withdrawal effects lasting more than 24 hours? I'm talking about how I'll drink on a friday night and feel bored, mentally slower, and fatigued until Monday morning simply from Friday night. Does this make sense? Is this normal? Literature describes a hangover to last up to around 20 hours max... 60 hours is obviously way past that.
And then there's caffeine... ohh the caffeine. I drink caffeine once and I feel tired for the next 24 hours. Is this normal??? I don't get it!

I notice the same thing... I don't drink regularly, but on July 4th I went to a party over at a neighbors house and had quite a bit to drink. I felt hung-over the next two days and slowed-down for 2-3 days after that. It took quite a bit of exercise and rehydration to start feeling normal again.
This is the end of the thread.
