Anyone have information about the effects of mixing pot with Lexapro or topamax? I asked my Dr. and he had no concerns with mixing the three. I do not want to resume any recreational pot use until I have further information about any possible interactions with THC and either Lexapro or Topamax. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. I have asked pharmacists who have had zero information about antidepressants and pot.

I told my pdoc about my DAILY usage of pot and it has not entered into any of our considerations of meds to take PERIOD. He did recommend slowing down on the drinking though, which I have done.

I mixed prozac and zyprexa with pot and other stuff with no problem.

I also told the pdoc about daily pot smoking and drinking. He advised me to take it easy on the alcohol, which has been easier than I thought it would be. He never mentioned the pot, so I'm not changing that at all.
I don't miss drinking as much as I thought I would. I still have 5-7 beers per week, and this has still worked out OK with the Lexapro (10mg) and the nighttime Seroquel.

I never had any any problems with using pot and I've been on many meds...the only thing that I noticed during certian periods on certain meds was that I couldn't get a high.

For what it's worth I was told never to mix POT with LITHIUM!!!!!! It can be very dangerous. I mixed it with Prozac and it was great.
