I have just withdrawn from Efexor and have started on Manerix - moclobemide (Aurorix in Oz) and suddenly my blood pressure skyrockets and I get a big migraine. So I do the only thing I can think of and take codeine - my last resort for pain. My doc wont be pleased because I've had lots of past tolerance to codeine. I did put up with the pain for 24 hours first before weakening. I decided not to take my last dose of Manerix because my blood is still pounding madly.
Now I think it will have to be reboxetine - which we can get here in Oz.
I'm sure I haven't handled all this properly but it's hard to know what to do in a crisis when all you can think about is how badly the doc will view my emergency use of codeine.
This is the end of the thread.
