nz government signs treaty with fiji

so now any claim that maaori have special status in new zealand because of a treaty can be matched by a claim that fijians also have special status in new zealand because of a treaty.

and if fijians get human rights because the believe their treaty was grounded in human rights and international law and maaori don't because they believe theirs wasn't...

that's for them to decide.
