I don't know if having a crush usually leads to a healthy relationship, something that could be called love. I hear that love is a choice. Having a crush is not a choice!

Yep, crushes are not so much voluntary. You can't help it when you feel fluttery inside, or whatever, just because of the presence of another. It just sort of happens.
It can get a bit easier / better with habituation. If you get the chance / opportunity to relax a bit when in their company. Maybe have a positive interaction, or something.
It's a feeling I am not much sure that I like.
