i rerember very well from stimulant it caused my eyes to get very dialated, but this is how i see it.....when i see someone who's dialted pupils are apparant, it's like....if you look at them long enough it's like you can read what their feeling, or more of a connection.....when pupils are constricted .... well it's just you see their eye iris more
but like dialated eyes it's like you feel more indimidated with someone who has dialated eyes, it's like there looking directly into you, than normal pupils size......it's sometims scary to look at someone who has large dialated pupils, it's like you can see like what there feeling
that's a wierd thing i just thought of.....i used to try to use color contacts to hide my dialated pupilcs from stimulants, they don't work, just makes you eye look more wierd.....only the ones that have a fixed pupil size but wearing those it's so obvious and you look like a halloween character
but yea.....it's like when i have dialated eyes, it's like im more open to connection
anyways.....anyone ever notice that? lol crazy rj thought

I doubt you feel more open to connection because your pupils are dilated. More likely, you feel more open because you are high on stimulants. I see people with dilated pupils and they usually have some other sign of stimulant use - grinding teeth, head-bobbing, rapid speech. Believe me, I don't feel connected to them. I can tell they're just high.

we'll reason i was saying, even when im not on stimulants, it's intimidating to see someone who has dialated pupils, sometimes it's scary....but it's like you can see more into them......i don't know one of my random thoughts
yes....methamphtamine, or even dextroamphetamine to lower extent will dialate your pupils, methamphetamine espically but yes when i was on stimulants i was more open and confident to talk....mainly when my pupils would dialate after repeated use......over and over, like taking them daily, it would make them slightly bigger but if you use them repeatly it will make them very dialated

Pupil size is mostly related to either (1) lighting conditions; (2) use of various kinds of drugs; (3) brain injuries. Are there any peer-reviewed studies linking pupil size to mood, etc? It seems unlikely. If you're in a bright room, your pupils expand, whether you feel good, bad or indifferent.

Sorry. Mis-typed. Dark room, dilate. Bright room, contract. Pupil size changes to regulate light that comes into the eyes.

Pupil size is also regulated by autonomic tone. People who are receptive to emotional and physical intimacy are in a state of increased parasympathatic tone. During these times, pupil diameter increases - "Bedroom eyes".
In my case, pupillary response is muted when I am most depressed. My pupils are constricted all of the time, regardless of ambient light. I can't isolate the mechanism behind this, but I suspect that it involves the balance of responsivity of autonomic components. As I respond to treatment, my pupillary responses normalize. The difference is striking. This is not a drug side effect. My pupillary responses were quite normal during a time of remission in the absence of drug treatment.

yea....i think when somneone is excited or aroused, it does effect the pupil size to increae or decrease....
there's websites that have some info on what causes your pupils to dialte, but mainly stimulants - methamphetamine cause the iris to dilate because it's being stimulated, if also notice people who take opiate medication, it does the opposite, it constricts them to pinpoint....somewhere that read it opiates relaxes the iris muscle instead of stimulate and dilate due to stimulation

but still like when i see someone who has dilated eyes, it's like you can see more into them....pseudo-science of connecting with someone
