I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Ecuador! I'm so nervous. it's my first time flying internationally alone and only my second time ever going to another country. I miss my T and I wish She could come calm me down and maybe even come with me :)

Have fun! Went to Asia this summer alone (though with a tour group) -crossed the international date line, only my third trip out of North America. Was great. You can do it!

I get nervous too when I make that kind of trip...but there's something "refreshing" about going to another country, I know after you get settled you will have such a great experience!

Are you back yet? How did it go? I've heard Ecuador is beautiful.

Thanks everybody! I had such a good time...went to the Galapagos Islands with a company and everybody on the group was so interesting and nice!
And I feel like I learned a lot and have a slightly new perspective of things.
Also, I snorkeled for the first time and I'm ready to go somewhere else to try it again! xoxo

I hear Puerto Rico has some very nice snorkeling in the mangroves.
