I hate him. Idk if i can change.. its a group that goes from 8AM till 12PM.

I know what I would do. I would bring it up at the next group and I would let him know I wasn't happy and ask what he's talking about and say to him that he seems like an ego maniac. I don't sh*t from those people. Doesn't sound like a supportive group.
When I was in a group that many hours everyday we did an exercise about our life. One of the social workers said my thinking processes were slow and need to be addressed. I told her I wanted to see her notes. She resisted but gave in. I told her to fax that to my psychiatrist. We had a bit of an argument. She sent it.
That's what group is for. To make life easier and to stand up for yourself when he is obviously trying to provoke you to see how you react.

its not a group, it is rehab, Occupational therapy.
Everyone has the same occupational therapy. It is supposed to prepare you for a workplace environment.
He is in a position of authority.

I'd say...
welcome to mental health! My IQ has been under-estimated. My upper-middle/upper-class family has been described as "rinky dink middle class." I've been subjected to all sorts of psychobabble, much of it (self-serving) Freudian b*llsh*t. My confidentiality has been violated.
I'm just 1 person.
It used to be said..."Those who can, do; those who can't teach." I'm beginning to wonder if those who *can* go into normal occupations, while those who *can't* all too often end up in mental health.
Just a thought.

And... welcome to the significant majority of the workforce! A significant part of working your way into something worthwhile seems to be based on ability to placate people such as his self. Which is probably why I dont get much work. Empathize with you.

Im mentally ill. That doesn't mean i need a clown as occupational therapist. Every day i am subjected to his bs.
Every bit of respect and acceptance is faked by me.
I hate to have to fake. That i care what he says. I don't.
It strikes me as very indiscriminate. Sometimes this sometimes that.

That's all the more reason to get in his face. That happens often at many jobs. Ask if you can have a word with him in his office. Be nice but forthright and ask him why he felt it necessary to say that.
Bosses have cut me off in mid sentence with everyone in attendance. After the meeting I said, could I have a word with you in your office? One question. Why did you feel it was necessary to disrespect me in front of people I supervise, you dick. I have no power anymore. Just read the idiots guide to dealing with idiots, Lam.
