Hi. I am depressed. Fun! I feel like, in a way, I'm getting older, and yet, I'm not getting any better. I don't have a job or in school. I feel like the world is moving on and I'm just falling apart. And nobody is there for me to comfort me. I need a lot of support I feel like. And I don't have much.
It's not possible for me to change medications right now, don't ask. It's just not an option at the moment. But it will be in the future. I am looking for a new psychiatrist and therapist. I can't stand the clinic I go to sometimes. The admin, the help I get, it just feels like, not enough. Or something. I mean I feel like it helps when I'm there....but then I have to leave.. lol.
I want to do the best I can in the meantime to just...feel better.
Any supportive responses would be appreciated. Thanks.

I really really hate my life. I know I need something to do, but I have no motivation to do it. I don't want to be like this.

I don't know how to help, but I empathize. I haven't had great luck with medications, but I do work with a DBT therapist and it helps (sometimes, not always) to just learn to sit with it, accept it, be compassionate with oneself. Hang in there.

I feel like the world is moving on, and I'm falling further and further behind.0
> And nobody is there for me to comfort me.
I am indeed fortunate that I have people that support and comfort me.
> I need a lot of support I feel like. And I don't have much.
I truly wish that you had the support you need and deserve. I hope that Psycho-Babble is helpful to you in that regard. The support I received here was invaluable at a time when I felt alone and was without recognition and support.

I find your drive to move towards health and away from illness to be very healthy. Never give up.

For quite a few years, I was a patient in a partial hospitalization program. I liked having somewhere to go, but I didn't like being around so many ill people. It was detrimental to my overall mental health and self-esteem. At some point, I had to leave. I couldn't take one more day there.
> I want to do the best I can in the meantime to just...feel better.
Yay!
Get well...

Hey Scott, your "join the club" comments made me laugh. I hope you don't mind. Thank you.
It's funny. I do have people. To comfort me, actually. Just not all the time. And not always like I need. And I do wish that I had a deeper more connected relationship with some people, but at times like these, at night, when people get back to me, lol, I find myself feeling better.
I want to go to this online nutrition school. My friend goes to it, and she loves it, and I think I'd love it too. That was random, but yeah.
I have also felt that way about psychobabble, that you have. And I'm grateful too. That's why I came back.
Yay, Scott, thanks for the support. I hope that you are well.

I can empathize too. Really started feeling my age over the last couple years. Not feeling like I've found a niche yet... Sometimes I feel good about the way things seem to be heading. But other times I don't feel like things are heading any particular way at all. Anyway... Just wanted to let you know that I'm reading. And I do care.

Hey Angela,
Do you like to make things? I love taking art classes--all kinds. Occasionally I have a small group come over for collage or go to someone else's home. Do you knit? There are even more knitting groups.
Just an idea. I think I can empathize with you. ((((((Hug)))))
