Laughter therapy

Posted by Phil on August 24, 2014, at 8:14:41

Every once in a while I'll see something that cracks me up. So I'm on the search for humor. Websites, movies, books, wherever.
On those days when I can laugh I want to laugh a lot.

This cracked me up though it carried a great message at the end.

That is a good one, Phil.
Unfortunately, I am frozen in my depression, at a bad time. I am supposed to be packing to move out. I have done a lot of the preparation, but packing and splitting up the household stuff is confrontational except for my clothes. They just don't fit him.
Hollow small laugh.

Sorry things are hard right now. When I moved out, I just left most stuff behind. Meant I had to buy new dishes, etc., but it was easier than fighting about it.

He is trying to tell me what I HAVE to take. I don't want most of the Stuff. Had such a crappy day I am having a hard time being sentimental at all. It's my depression talking, but it is too easy for me to go off on a crying jag.
Tell me it gets a bit better.

When I was around seven years old and my stepbrother was eleven, our parents were arguing. Since my stepbro lived with his mother and stepfather, we started splitting up the comic books. Neither one of us has ever forgotten it.

One solution to this is to just get rid of stuff. I threw a ton of stuff out. There are services that will cart stuff away for a fee.

It's getting better for me. Partly, moving out was anti-climatic. I had made a decision a few months before I could actually leave, so I was glad to be gone once the financial issues were all resolved.

But being alone is an adjustment. Hopefully, a beneficial adjustment.
