Cured. Now there's a thought. I feel very, very far away from it these days, yet I don't hate my life any more. That's a strike in the WIN column.
And I do wish I had had the opportunity and the balls to try a lot more drugs when they were around me and accessible. Now I am not only a wimp, but worry about interactions with meds. How ironic.

you're no wimp! but hey, pick a mushroom off of a cowpattie, wash then eat. in one hour you will be in a very different space, laugh with your friends hysterically for about an hour. your ribs hurt, tears down the face and not one single person knows what they are laughing about. that's the drug. then the lights, so mellow. sat on a dirt road with 3 friends, plowed fields right by us and we had a straight view of a chemical plant and lights. it looked like millions of $$ of rare jewels but bright! i would look at the ground and it was undulating. your skin is the same temperature as the air, there is no difference. you think DEEP. we sat there on our skinny *ss*s and talked for 6 hours. all 4 people talk at the same time and we're all following what's said. i recorded us in a friends car but lost the cassette tape years ago. we were talking loud all at the same time laughing. gets quiet for 2 seconds. then this song screams out of the speakers. we were in our element.a friend said i wish everyone on this planet could experience this one time. yep long ago.

i have a few funny stories but too much to write here. on the other hand, pc, you really didn't miss that much. i mean you "could have been" like some that are scared to death. they went in with the wrong mindset, weren't in a safe place and did it with people they didn't know. disaster waiting to happen. and it gets amplified times 100. just like your positive contented side does. i was scared to try ecstacy and i'm way too old to try again. i love drug talk. i had fun.
i tell ya' one thing cowgirl, them boys on Bonanza were on mushrooms. cowboys had to be so bored on cattle drives that they would eat shrooms or peyote. no whiskey. schrooms and tobacco. ain't in the history books though.

I had been entertaining the thought of micro dosing with Ayahausca, but even that doesn't seen smart with someone whose PTSD is so firmly entrenched. I'm going to call that one a smart call.
It's that getting older bit, I think. LOL.

PTSD, getting older. Since I'm feeling better the age thing went away. Not that worried, not today.
