one of the best experiences of my life
me and 4 others went to new orleans to pack up three stores that were closing. It was a lot of work. we went to the hard rock cafe one night to eat.
we ordered and i said i need to go smoke. Nope, I saw a black guy across the street playing a drum. I walked over and watched for a minute and asked do you have extra sticks. didn't say a word, reached in his back pocket and gave them to me. i picked up the other drum. what seemed to be a simple groove was not simple but i started playing with him. I tried not to get in his way and finally got going. he was kind didn't cuss very laid back.
This turned out to be the favorite gig of my life. are you from here? i came from new york. well i came from ny but i'm from jamaica. where you from. Austin. he said no wonder you're so cool(i'll never forget that line) a coworker brought my hamburger to me. I split it in half and gave mr ny half. he stuck it in his pocket. yuppies came by listened for a while and put money in the container. i remember this as plain as day. i'm not those people, i am like mr new york. had to leave, thanked him, and i realized that gift immediately. it was pre katrina and i still wonder if he's ok. can you love someone after drumming for an hour. yes, you can.

i have a little case of bipolar depression. cycling every two weeks. I'll get through it. These hallucinations are the worst. i guess i can handle bipolar but it might not be pretty. If anything the hallucinations will drive me over the edge. whatever you think is in your room you are totally powerless to deal with it. they are tactile, they can touch you. about this time of night I dread trying to sleep. maybe i'm not ok.
thanks for asking.

I think some doctors prescribe anti convulsants antipsychotics and antidepressants I have no idea what the success rate is. i'm on antipsycotics and anticonvusants already so they don't work for me.
i'm rapid cycling now. about every two weeks.
i haven't had an episode for 4 days. that's the longest i've gone.
