Nice things to say about other people.

HomelyCygnet implored Dr. Bob to move the following thread to Social. I guess she felt it was important for Social to see it. I thought posting a link would be helpful.

Thanks Scott. This is a nice thread. I don't read administration -- too much negative energy -- so I didn't realize you were doing this.

I think most of the posters here try to be kind and helpful to one another. And then there are a couple who are -- just seem to want to provoke people. I ignore those posters. Don't open their posts, don't open responses to their posts.

I check out this site because I've gotten to like following people's progress and stories. I learn a lot from people like you and linkadge and eduk who are extremely knowledgable about psychopharm.

I appreciate Phillipa's attentiveness and kindness and enjoy alex's posts about her struggles. I like reading about RJ's ongoing efforts to establish himself in the world. I badly miss Dinah. I could go on, but I don't remember people's names all the time.

Sometimes I think people place too much faith in meds here. OTOH, that's what the med board is for....

Personally, meds have helped me, but without therapy and 12-step groups, I would not have survived.

This is a great thread. Thanks for thinking of it.

I think Dinah is awesome. She is so bright and thoughtful and empathetic.

I think dr bob is dedicated, curious and altruistic.

I think SLS is generous, knowledgeable and kind.

I think Alex is thoughtful, persistent and courageous.

I think Sigi is a creative thinker, thoughtful, humble, intelligent and passionate.

That's it for now.... There are many others, my favs, including jane, Deneb, norosegarden, so many...

Linkadge

Linkadge has a deep understanding of psychobiology, and is a great resource for the creative use of that understanding. He tends to be ahead of the curve. He is not afraid to explore unpopular ideas, and has managed to be right more often than not. Linkadge is generous in his helping others to understand their illness and treatment. His logic and intellect are valuable. I hope he continues to share it with us.
