Amitriptyline was the first drug that worked for me. Fiber won't do it but senokot can.
I told my current doc that I remember the spot, the highway, where it kicked in. The trees were vivid green and janet jackson was on the radio(when I think of you)and the synthesizers were just cutting through me and I said so this is how the other half lives.Phil...

Phil a TCA so treated for depression. They say when it lifts that colors are more vivid and things taste better so that is mania and not depression? Phillipa

i made a rookie mistake and said screw this and stopped taking it after maybe 4-5 days.
I woke up and called my mother at 7am. I told her I knew the answer to everyone planet and people. Just be nice. lolI sat at my kitchen table and started sweating and my stomach was haywire. I thought this is withdawal
called the doc he said take a half if the dose and call in sick.

I can remember forever ago taking a small dose of a strong opiate and walking down the street, talking to ladies watering their plants. One invited me in for a cup of tea. I thought it was wonderful and still do.
You know what I would like for Christmas Phil? A visit to an old fashioned opium den.
