Solve this riddle for a container load of Seroquel

Posted by Phil on August 17, 2013, at 12:59:57

I pissed a very pretty girl off on a forum where I have the most time of anybody, spotless rep. This was by pm and I don't know what I said but it was bad. I universally despised for something I don't remember.
Monday I woke up consumed with finding the answer. Over the last year I've sent poison emails to two friends and three others who are the closest people to me, never an argument.
About two years ago I posted a facebook post that was so vile that within three minutes of hitting the enter key old friends were calling. The first took a while to calm down. Knock at the door, I said to myself, police.
The lady cop had been trained for these situations. She was hyper focused on every word, every move. That post that I don't remember had me a cats whisker from the psych ward.
When I'm typing I think it's perfectly normal so i send it. The next day I start getting an uneasy feeling...oh no.
My therapist said, if carljung was here he would say it's your Shadow Self. If anyone understands Jung, I can use all the help I can get.

Phil, this sounds like dissociating, doesn't it? I think it's something we all do to an extent, but more so if we have traumatic histories.

Phil I agree with Twinleaf. Kind of your other personality comes out. Old name mpd. Phillipa

sometimes it can help to step back...

IF i posted nasty stuff to her... WHY would i have done that?

let your mind wander.

did she hurt you in some way? post something that you found hurtful... did she ignore you...

?

a while ago i remember reading something by... i think it was john suler. about the 'online disinhibition effect'.

with our online communications there is a dissociation already built in. the other person isn't standing in front of us. we don't get immediate reactions or responses to what we are saying. sometimes... i think that means we don't tone down or otherwise lighten up or back off - because we don't get signals from others that they are listening, they do understand, or that the way we are conveying the message is hurting them.

with dogs... when they are fighting... aggression ceases when one submits. except in some dogs. some have thought this is a model for psychopathy / sociopathy. some don't stop when the other submits. they continue. it is like they don't get the message that they can stop. they just keep going. i think that this can happen with online communications because of the time delay and the lack of real-time emotional responses (*while* we are conveying the message).

that is one thought anyway.

I spent 12 straight hours Monday to do nothing but an answer. I didn't really have anything against her and wouldn't go out with her if I could. Know why? I dated a girl for maybe three weeks in '94.
Pathological liar. I just got out of a longterm relationship=married 14 years, four kids.
Phil I know who you're dating in your apt complex.
That's odd, I know not one person here.
Doesn't mean the other girl is that way but Jung had a quote on pretty women, negative.
An article in my blog post is pretty good info but I haven't read much yet. I think it will answer at least what's driving this.

I knew the apt manager pretty well but no tenants. I mean who wants to meet these people?

All of these were emails to friends, a facebook post to friends. I knew the girl on the forum and we got along OK. Then I post somethinh I have no memory of including the emails and fb post.

I'm not enjoying this. I've pissed off the closest friends in my life and don't remember.

I think you would be a little worried if you emailed your best friends telling them to go to hell and woke up the next day with no memory.

Just between here and that forum I have a total of 18 years. Never, not once, not even close have I done something like this.

It feels like sleep driving on Ambien. It's f*ck*d.

I've stepped back, that was first. I never would have cared if she ignored me. She couldn't hurt me if she tried. She was none of my business. Still, kinda shocking to wake up to a house burning down.
She's not the worst. My fb post almost got me a free ride to the psych ward. How would you like to tell the police you have no memory of a post written 20 minutes ago?
