Phil I did google your symptoms and sounded to me like it was from smoking and an isolated incident. Are you a heavy drinker? Did anyone suggest cancer? I don't think you have it. Make sure you post the results of your docs appointment. Good luck. Phillipa

haven't drank in 30 years. There are tons of people online that got a cancer dx. My father died at 58 of cancer, brother at 63. I'm not making any long term plans. I'm 60.

My mom was an alcoholic. By the time I was ten I was telling myself that will never happen to me.
I was drinking and partying back in the old days. I found that I was waking up terribly depressed after drinking and it would last a week or so. I said no more. It was very easy to kick. It's way overrated.

I truly didn't feel you would have tumors. Did the doc indicate what he thought they were? Phillipa

Not much kick felt for us fogies, eh?
Still with you, Pal. Oh, and I think I made the same promise to myself. Pffffft!!!!!!!!

No. I think the three most likely places are the liver, stomach, and pancreas.

thanks pc. i haven't had symptoms in a week or so. Last night, bam, nausea. It just hits.
I went to my mantra, please don't throw up blood. I remembered i had one dose left of nausea meds, Took them and straight to bed. It took about 40 minutes to kick in. This morning is borderline. Very borderline.

Very borderline.Does ginger tea or ginger ale help you? I get queasy on new medications and always have ginger something to hand. I find the anti nausea pills just slow down the digestive process.
Quick, summon your butler to attend to you.
(That was a very weak joke.)

It takes 2 different big pills to calm this down. I like Ginger Ale. Always wonder why I don't drink it more often.
Sick today, 9 on a 10 scale of misery. If I'm like this in the morning, ER time. They will admit me and some doc I've never met will perform the procedure. back to bed, it's coming.

Acid Reflux!!!! Couldn't have come out better. I just take pills which I'm quite adept at.
I envisioned people pushing me to ICU. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. A hamburger. lodged in there since 1963. And a couple of 9V batteries.
Really like the doc even though I may have seen him for two minutes max.

Hooray!
I'm glad, Phil.
I have troubles with it myself. One thing I've recently found I can't tolerate is carbonated beverages. They appear to wreak havoc on my stomach lining now. If you drink any, try to abstain and see if it helps.

>That's how I feel about my gastro doc. His name, poor guy, is Dr. Glamour. Good thing he wasn't a proctologist (though he would not have been my doc, then, but...) Truly, the best of possible outcomes. I KNOW it's because I meditated on it. Yeah, right.
Happy happy, joy.joy!

Yeah I read that earlier. I love this ginger ale.
The thing is I've never felt this, ever. Weird to me.

Good name, though.
Funny I actually pay attention to these things. I knew of a periodontist named Dr. Gumm.(Big, cheesy smile.)

The doctor took a biopsy just to be safe. His nurse called to say I have Barretts Esophagus. A precancerous condition that they will need to check every three years. For the rest of my life, take one Lansoprazole and do not run out or skip doses.
