Wow! I was not expecting this movie to be so powerful...such a gem. I just thought it was an animated film, and never wanted to see it. Glad I decided to. My son wanted me to see it. I love when you watch a movie that really transports you to another place. Ive got to read the book!

At the end I felt a bit stupid....when whoever it was went into the symbolism.
I LOVED Pondicherry in the movie. I wish India was like that now. Kathmandu was kind of like that in some ways 40 years ago, maybe nicer, it was actually.

I loved it when the tiger paused, at the very end, to think of Pi. And Pi thought the tiger didnt think of him...heartbreaking. I know I sound sooo dramatic! But I was so mesmerized by this film!

Hmm.
I'm not sure that I would have an interest in watching "Life Of Pi". I'm not much into fantasy. I'll keep an open mind, though.

Reconsider: there is deep meaning in this film.
