I found some really cheap plane tickets to Las Vegas, only $343 from Ottawa to Vegas and back including all taxes and fees!
I have bought tickets to Vegas for right before Christmas and before New Years. I read that is the most inexpensive time. Strangely right after that is the most expensive time in Vegas, at New Year's.
So far no one is going with me. I'm OK going alone. I'm sure there will be lots of stuff to do.
I haven't been on a trip in a few years now.
This will be fun to plan.
BTW, if anyone wants to meet up with me there, that would be great!

Glad you get to go! Thats cool that you will go alone.Ive always wanted to try a cruise alone,just to do it.Im reading a book by Cheryl Strayed called Wild,and it's a memoir.She is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail alone.That takes guts.Enjoy!!
