Hi I have terrible anxiety and insomnia. I have been taking .25 to .5 mg of klonopin at night. We have been trying to conceive and I also take prenatal vitamins and have been eating healthy. I tried to stop the klonopin but i can't sleep and have terrible anxiety. I'm very worried that I am harming my baby. Has anyone taken klonopin early on and had a healthy preganacy?

It is pregnancy category D, meaning it has been known to cause problems in human fetuses. Docs don't usually rx such things if you are thinking of becoming pregnant. Typically, if you need something, they have you take something in category C. Please talk your doctor ASAP.
Also, I posted a tread on the med board about category C. You might find some helpful info there.
