Today is the 80th anniversary of the opening of the Sydney harbour bridge. Here are some paintings of it and of other things by my favourite Australian painter, Grace Cossington Smith.
When you see them up close the brush work is really interesting. I went with my son to the national gallery years ago when he was doing art to see them. Have a look round. You can see the one of the bridge almost joined at the top.

Gosh, her artwork is indeed lovely, Sig. I would so love to have something so beautiful on my wall.
