Yuck. You poor thing. Very unpleasant. Hope it fades away so you remember nada.
Nightmares are stupid. Hate them, personally. Isn't life rough enough awake, for real, that we ought to have peace while asleep, at least??
Sheesh.

It was an awful dream, they are disturbing lately.
My husband said he didn't hear anything from me, but he was sound asleep.

I get nightmares also usually about real life events that end up twisted in some way. Sorry you had one. Phillipa

Sleepygirl....
Just a thought...are you taking any meds, or have you recently stopped taking any? Sometimes antidepressants and stimulants can cause very vivid dreams, or they can suppress dreams so that if you miss a dose or stop taking them abruptly, you can have very vivid (and, speaking from personal experience, often very nasty) dreams.
hugs & sympathy,

I cut the seroquel in half that night.
I don't know if that would do it.
Something to consider,
Thanks

I get bad nightmares under extreme stress. Anxiety dreams, nakid in public, on the toilet in public, house falling down around me toilets and sinks overflowing, teeth falling out (my favorite) and many more. When things are the worst I sleepwalk wich is far worse on me.
While having nightmares it's all I can do to eat right and try to sleep. I just can"t function, forget about the basic house cleaning and managing my affairs. I try not to worry about it if I can. I try to cut myself slack and ride it out knowing it will pass. It's hard having nightmares.
This is the end of the thread.
