I kind of pushed oldest Daughter out of the nest after she got her BA, Son left on own to live with a girl now his ex-wife x 2. Yes married same idiot twice. Now married again to another. Phillipa

I never saw this. I like the song :) It seems melancholy. Is the movie that way? (If I see it, I can prepare myself.)

I'm gonna look up the sound track....

Thank you.

I didn't know you had a teen. Mine is still snug in the nest. It was difficult for me to let go enough for him to go to school. So I cannot fully imagine what you might be going through in the letting go process. I'm glad you have cultural things in common. A bridge in adulthood.

the movie is strange and you really have to follow it closely.i cant even describe it! but yes, letting go,difficult.i can pull up so many moments from his childhood, and remember how i couldnt believe hed ever be a teenager, now nearing 20.I worry intensely about car wrecks, weirdos assaulting him in a dark alley, cancer lurking...you do wear your heart on your sleeve.I think I havent been successful w/klonopin taper because I have too many worries at the moment.

Give yourself time. And I do go through same things just knew I had to cut the apron strings so to speak. Now in 30's and 40's live all in Florida. Phillipa

Yeah, I think I agree with Phillipa about giving yourself time. Be generous with yourself, heart on your sleeve and all. Sew a little pocket for your heart so it will be comfy.

Maybe I will try it, too.
