I became quite helpless at the explanatory diagram headed 'Something bad happens'.

I've got a t-shirt, it's got a chicken on it, laying on a psychoanalyst's couch. It is exploring the question of why it crossed the road.
Probably had to go 5x a week to figure that out. The transference would have to be intense.
No clucking around there.Somebody said that life is transference. Well, I suppose nothing could be immune from the notion that how we experienced the past determines how we see the present. Reality can be so subjective.

I was just having massive anxiety about my inability to tolerate the past. Then I recognized a competing urge of not wanting to try any longer, that maybe the world could take a hike.
Not sure how that would work.
Then I read your post.
You really have this tee shirt? The thought gives me a smile.

I really do, it's packed away somewhere.
So the past is hard to think about?
My present is contaminated by my past.

Just something silly someone sent me.
That person makes some attractive tee shirts.
The therapy one is my fav. The others are pretty. Which in itself is pretty nice.
This is the end of the thread.
