OK, I searched online for this and can't find anything that resembles what I experienced twice. I woke up today to crunchy teeth! I bite and my teeth crunch. I pulled out a piece of white crystal from my teeth! It was pretty big. My teeth crunched for a long time. I brushed them, then they were OK. What the heck was that?
Sometimes I don't brush my teeth and once it happened before and I hadn't brushed my teeth before bed so I thought it was tarter. However, last night I did brush my teeth! What is going on?
I'm brushing my teeth with a toothpaste that has a high concentration of fluoride because sometimes I don't brush my teeth so I thought I need extra protection. Could the toothpaste be the cause of the crystals?
It is sooo odd!

I think it is tarter now. Ew. I really need to take care of my teeth more. OK, starting right now I MUST brush, floss and waterpik at least twice a day!
My gums bleed a lot when I used the waterpik. I'm going to rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide and then salt water. I hope I don't have irrevesible gum disease!

Gum disease is pretty unlikely at your age. If you have a lot of tartar, you might want to go to the dentist for a cleaning.

You should go to the dentist for a cleaning. Then from that day forth take care of your teeth. They are the only set you get.
This is the end of the thread.
