Dr Bob, please, please forgive me again for posting on the main board. I know this should go on Social but no one looks and I need help urgently!!

I'm sorry for posting on the wrong board but I urgently need to write my medication history for Dr Goldberg for Mon 12.20pm. (new york time)
But I am way to low, suicidal and scatter brained to do it myself.I was hoping someone who is currently doing better,is rather clever and has today off could help me out. I would of course pay you for your time (courtesy my sister) 25$/hr (negotiable) via paypal.
I have most things written down but I need to organize it and fill in the blanks. Also its really long and I'm overwhelmed
If you have 5 hrs today and are willing to help me via skype or other program, babble mail me please.
i will tell you what I have in mind.Again I apologize for posting on the med board but I am desperate for help. I hired a med student in NY to help me but she had no idea about psychiatry and I ended up having to explain everything to her. I think people here know better how a history is written.

Maybe you can try posting this on newyork.craigslist.org, and ask for a med student thinking of going into psychiatry.

I live in New York (not sure if you are in the city or elsewhere) and would be willing to help you but I have to be at a dinner tonight. If you're not able to give him your drug history by tomorrow, why not reschedule your appointment with him?

yes, i did that. My search has gone on for 2 weeks. Eventually I could not get a person with any background/interest in psychiatry. I don't think such students check craigs list. I finally got a general med student but that was not much help. I was offering a lot for this project because i have been trying to write this thing for 6 months and no one can help me as they have no time or zero understanding of psych stuff. I can't explain why but some background understanding helps. I think people on PB are so much more informed than some doctors I know.
For eg: if I told an average person 'i had depression in xyz year', a PB person or psych student would probably ask ' what symptoms exactly?' They would understand what you meant if you said atypical or mood reactivity. simple stuff like that.

Does Dr Goldberg actually need a formal essay on your drug history? Seems strange to me. Can't you just write down the drugs you have used as a list? I'm sure he will ask you questions about your previous drugs to get the information he needs/wants. Just an idea.

> Mattiasactually no he doesn't. in fact he wants it brief but I cannot think clearly so i cant be selective. my brain is too jumbled.
i went last week totally unprepared and he was fine but if i don't fill him in, he cant treat me. My problem is that my brain is so scattered and drugs have reacted so differently with me at different points that I can't just list them. for example i have taken ritalin 4 times in the past 10 years and each time it has had a very different reaction. so my history is like a thesis.
Anyway, I have given up trying as it is giving me anxiety and I have had to sedate myself. I wrote to him and let him know that I needed his help to document my drug history. hopefully he will be helpful and patient.

It seems to me that in the time it would take you to write out and explain what you have taken for someone else to write, you'd already have done the work.

i have all the files but only some are organized. But I'd send the files to the person and then online we could organize it.
That's just in principle though.

I am in new york. I have informed him that i will come unprepared yet again. so for next time in need to have this thing ready. If you are interested in doing it in the next couple of days do babblemail me
