at Pinery Provincial Park, near Grand Bend, in Ontario Canada.

The weather is supposed to be good.

We're finally getting some hot, sunny, nice summer weather. Finally!

Thanks youse guys. ;-))

Hey I will enjoy myself & guess what.........

I'm actually not worrying about my son! Last week away was the first time for a LONG time - years actually! that there hasn't been some sort of problem or crisis for him back in our town, when we were away....usually ending with him phoning us!

But touch wood, he's doing very well. Got his own little house; sharing with a good-choice friend (who is new in our town & is still looking for a job, which makes it a big financial pressure for my son, apart from that it's good).

I have had so many years of s**t happening with my son, that I needed a concrete reminder of how well he's doing. So I put a prety glass on the window-sill behind my sink. For each good thing or time he did well despite circumstances, etc, I put in a pretty marble. (I started this last month, but thought back to the beginning of May for events).....the jar is full!!!

Even stuff like, "went to work even though he was REALLY stressed"

So, I'm starting to realize that things are really changing.

Lovely sunny day & supposed to stay nice for a bit.

See ya when I get back.

xo Kath

Back + S.A.D. kicking in already!!

Thx for your good wishes.

2 days before trip was over, I recognized what seems to be SAD (seasonal affective disorder) symptoms kicking in. By yesterday, was feeling VERY depressed.

:-(

Have upped St. John's Wort & 5HTP. Wish I had done so sooner, as the SJW takes a while to kick in completely. Am also taking my homeopathic Dr. Reckeweg's R184. And Vit D AND selenium.........

AND my light lamp!!

Feeling somewhat of an improvement today thank goodness. Yesterday I was feeling pretty scared.

Had basically good weather camping, I noticed that I mostly seemed to be feeling not-in-touch with what was happening....sort of hollow feeling.

Sigh.

My daughter came with us & it was really nice seeing her.

Now I have what feels like a million emails in my inbox! sigh.

Thx Angela,

Yes, the light box actually does help.

In fact yesterday, I turned it on & lay with my eyes closed; was still feeling like I needed more sleep. I could sort of 'see' the light through my closed eyelids & I could feel my body relax & felt a bit calmer.

I think it takes a while of use before the full benefits happen, but I really do they it helps me.

hugs, Kath
