Back around 2004 there was a poster named `chemist' who was very knowledgedable about benzodiazepines.
He also had strong opinions, and seemed to get frequent PBCs and blocks. Did he eventually leave on his own? Or did the exponential growth of the blocks banish him for ten years?

That's kind of a mystery as used to e-mail with him and one day e-mails changed also. Chemist was so helpful to me. Chemist if reading come back??? Love Phillipa

Is it that long ago?
I don't recall any massive blocks for him.
He wrote an unusual post about the number 17 or something like that.
That might have been the last I heard of him.
I recall him saying of the benzos that 'Xanax wins by a nose'.

From memory... Chemist got blocked for a year (or a long time anyway) for something he posted to RJ Lockheart. Telling him to 'stop being silly' or some such. His block would be long up, now, but to the best of my knowledge he never reappeared on the boards after it.
