I wish I could airmail you a snowball. My son and I discovered today that we both like Cream of Ice Cream more than Nectar Cream.

Today was cooler than it has been lately, and I still was blazingly hot.

I think I'm going to start working naked, after turning on every fan in the house, and cranking the a/c as low as it gets.

Or even better, work in a wet swimsuit with fans at full blast.

I *hate* *hate* *hate* heat.

Can you fry your eggs on the bitumen and have a nice relaxing lunch?

I'm sticking with Popsicles, sig. Maybe I'll go to 7/11 and ask if I can restock their coolers.

It should be about 103 now. My window units sound like a steam locomotive climbing a steep grade.

I think I can....

This summer the weather all around is the pits. I like Dinah's naked idea. But it was cool here today. Phillipa

We've been getting rain the last week or so thank heavens. It's amazing what a difference that makes.

Wishing appropriately scaled rain for Texas.

You too?

Well, I must confess more topless than naked. Naked with dogs around is not really feasible.

It's amazing. First I went to short sleeves, then realized that that was too hot and only sleeveless was bearable. Then I decided that sleeveless wasn't good enough, I needed sleeveless with air circulation on the shoulders and back of the neck. Now that isn't even enough, and I'm running out of things to take off.

Thank heavens my office figured out that I was right and the a/c was not working properly. Apparently the booster a/c for when the temps got too high was "accidentally" turned off. I wonder how much the building owner saved through that accident before the tenants revolted. I was so unwell after a couple of hours there that I had to sit in a cool bath when I got home, and still felt sick.

I hate heat.
